We have photographed 2 year old Faye from the week she was born and many times in-between. Her mummy Lucy fully understands the importance of capturing every memory of life as a family and we are lucky enough to be trusted to record this for them and I consider it an absolute honour.
This week was an important milestone because not was Faye’s birthday. So we got together and thought out a few ideas and the obvious one was a giant number 2 painted in purple a fav colour and then of course cake.
So we started our shoot with Faye and daddy Jon, The family dog Freddie and of course Mummy Lucy as well as Grandma Sarah who we also know very well. So a few as a large family then we broke down to smaller groups before Jon had to shoot off to work with Freddie. Afterwards we did a lovely Christmas shoot which was pretty special too whilst we still had Jon.
We then took lots with Lucy and Faye and Sarah and Faye and of course Faye solo. Few then did a few with her cupcake which was fun too. Although a 2 year old eating cake can be messy haha.
Our family photography studio
We have a modern comfortable studio with lots of space and backdrop options including of course the very contemporary white and black options as well as our beautiful brown too. We have a bathroom and changing areas fully heated and more importantly air conditioned for when its hotter outside.
Lots of free parking offload and a waiting room if you arrive early.
We have free high speed guest wifi so you can catch up one facebook whilst we photograph the children and you can enjoy a lovely latte from our deluxe coffee machine which of course is all free too.
Free cookies for the children and adults. Our famous Gingerbread cookies are very popular and people say they are worth coming back for.
We also have phone sockets available for recharging you just need to ask.
What does it cost for a family photo shoot?
Our family portrait shoots for up to 8 people cost £200 and includes all of the photos that we take supplied electronically which allows you to download as often as you like to print and share. We do not hold back, if we take 100 photos then you get 100 photos all beautifully finished ready to print and share. We do charge a little more for over 8 but only £50.00 or very large groups £100.00 for the extra time and editing but effectively each family gets a portrait shoot so great value.
With each shoot you also get (if you wish to) a client gallery/slideshow on our dedicated fast server which is fab for computer or phone viewing. Surely there must be hidden extras?
Absolutely not. Sue and I sell our photo packages just like we prefer to buy things, that is everything upfront and honest. Every package we offer from newborns, cake shoots and family shoots comes with all of the photos that we take (minus any mistakes or blinkers etc) and they are all high resolution 300dpi ready to print and share with family and friends. That means afterwards you can pop along to your local printers and buy prints or a canvas which is super important if you live away or if your parents live away and they want photos or any album, you just forward the download link that we send you.
Some photographers offer shoots for £95 but you don’t get any photos. Or £150.00 and you get a very small selection of photos. Either way you are forced to walk away with very little or indeed nothing or you pay hundreds and maybe thousands afterwards. With us our family shoot its £200.00 including photos.
