Ezra at 6 days old.
Last week we met Ezra who is a beautiful baby boy and cousin to my last blog post Isla Rose which I will pop at the bottom of this post too. The mummies are twins so this amazing family were blessed with 2 gorgeous healthy babies just a few short months apart and we were blessed with meeting them both too.
This shoot with Ezra was pretty perfect just like his cousin really. Lots of outfit changes and props and then some with Mummy and Daddy and then Nana too as a bonus. Ezra was a little overdue and ever so gorgeous, he slept really well when we needed him too and did not grizzle for the whole shoot until right up until the end when he needed to be left to sleep off the drama of his first photo shoot 🙂
It was lovely to meet Ezra, Sue and I both love it so much when families come back to us.
Below are a few answers to questions that we get asked about our newborn photography Southampton.
How old should my newborn baby be for a newborn shoot with you?
Good question, ideally 7-10 days old but we know this is not always practical and often babies are still in hospital at this time but we have had great success upto 6 weeks old and even older with premature babies and twins.
When do I need to book a newborn photo shoot?
Honestly sooner the better, we take a £50 deposit then guarantee you a space during the magic 7-10 day period. Sue and I often work on our days off to fit in new babies.
What if I forgot to book my newborn shoot, is it too late?

Where is your newborn studio situated?
We are in Southampton SO163QJ. We have free parking and every single facility that you would expect from a modern photo studio including bathrooms, changing room, mummy and baby room and separate area in the studio if needed and Sue and I fully support breast feeding here for both newborn and mummies with older babies. We also have baby changing facilities and emergency nappies in most sizes lol.
