A little older newborn but cute as a button
Victoria called me to ask about newborn photos for her 8 week old baby and I was honest and explained that it was definitely worth go and no matter what we would get gorgeous photos even if she never slept. Well once they arrived she looked amazing, VERY awake but cute and a button so we started very patiently taking photos of her. She was simply perfect and such a good baby. We tried a few outfits that Mum and Dad loved and worked with each change until we got what we wanted and then I popped her in a swaddle. OMG she was a wriggle monster but eventually it did the trick and we got sleepy photos, Very courteous sleepy photos.
We then did a lovely shoot with mum and dad too.
All in all a fabulous shoot with a very lively 8 week old baby and a fantastic google review from mummy too.
Below are a few answers to questions that we get asked about our newborn photography Southampton.
How old should my newborn baby be for a newborn shoot with you?
Good question, ideally 7-10 days old but we know this is not always practical and often babies are still in hospital at this time but we have had great success upto 8 weeks old and even older with premature babies and twins.
When do I need to book a newborn photo shoot?
Honestly sooner the better, we take a £50 deposit then guarantee you a space during the magic 7-10 day period. Sue and I often work on our days off to fit in new babies.
What if I forgot to book my newborn shoot, is it too late?

Where is your newborn studio situated?
We are in Southampton SO163QJ. We have free parking and every single facility that you would expect from a modern photo studio including bathrooms, changing room, mummy and baby room and separate area in the studio if needed and Sue and I fully support breast feeding here for both newborn and mummies with older babies. We also have baby changing facilities and emergency nappies in most sizes lol.
