Sue and I always find ourselves very busy between Christmas and New Year because its a time for families to get together from far and wide and the perfect opportunity to get some updated photos.
This year we have quite a few newborns and a couple of fun cake shoots, A wedding in Cornwall and one closer to home in London so quite a busy festive period for us.
I was contacted by Adam about our photo package, he was particularly interested in out “no hard sell” approach and booked a shoot for him with parents and his 2 siblings. His brother was about to go travelling to Australia for 9 months so something to pop up on the wall was a fabulous idea.
Because they were all grown ups 😁 we started with our white backdrop and the large groups and did a few options. We then broke down into smaller groups which was a lot of fun and made for amazing photos.
Afterwards we swapped to our more formal brown canvas backdrop which makes for beautiful photos especially when Mum was wearing such beautiful colours. We pretty much did the same, a few larger then a few smaller groups and a few individual photos for the show offs 😂
It was a fab photo shoot and we loved the time we spent with them and the photos.

Our family photography studio
We have a modern comfortable studio with lots of space and backdrop options including of course the very contemporary white and black options as well as our beautiful brown too. We have a bathroom and changing areas fully heated and more importantly air conditioned for when its hotter outside.
Lots of free parking offload and a waiting room if you arrive early.
We have free high speed guest wifi so you can catch up one facebook whilst we photograph the children and you can enjoy a lovely latte from our deluxe coffee machine which of course is all free too.
Free cookies for the children and adults. Our famous Gingerbread cookies are very popular and people say they are worth coming back for.
We also have phone sockets available for recharging you just need to ask.
What does it cost for a family photo shoot?
Our family portrait shoots for up to 8 people cost £200 and includes all of the photos that we take supplied electronically which allows you to download as often as you like to print and share. We do not hold back, if we take 100 photos then you get 100 photos all beautifully finished ready to print and share. We do charge a little more for over 8 but only £50.00 or very large groups £100.00 for the extra time and editing but effectively each family gets a portrait shoot so great value.
With each shoot you also get (if you wish to) a client gallery/slideshow on our dedicated fast server which is fab for computer or phone viewing. This link doesn’t not expire so is great to share with family and friends too. You can preview the slideshows below.

You can choose to have your photoshoot indoors in our modern studio or at our location here in Southampton. We can also quote to go to your favourite location if you prefer.
