On Tuesday we ran a Boudoir photography workshop for local photographer Hannah. She is trying too concentrate on Boudoir photography and needed advice on posing, lighting and editing for this specialised field.
Sue and I have been photographing boudoirs for many years and even ran our dedicated Ecole Boudoir school but since but 3 or 4 years ago we brought everything back under the Julian Porter Photography name.
Our day was fun filled and busy. We had 3 models booked and a ton of things for Hannah to try. We started at 9am for a chat about lighting and the general rules and regs and then at 10am our first model was here.
We had a fun hour shooting and and lots of questions. Then lunch before a fast and furious afternoon. 2 more models and various lighting methods.
Towards the end woe did a little more editing but I think its fair to say that Hannah and I were buzzing and our heads were full of ideas.
We have an evening with Hannah to go through editing which again is a key part of Boudoir photography.
Sue and I offer all sorts of photo workshop from first time beginners through to people like Hannah looking to change fields.
Sue and I are also popular Boudoir photographers in Southampton and you can check our page above.
