Cain Manor wedding with Tom & Alyssia

Cain Manor wedding photos

Another lovely Cain Manor wedding photos I thought I would feature for our new blog was Tom and Alyssia’s from 2 summers ago. We are back at Cain Manor next week and I follow both Tom and Alyssia on Strava because they too are keen cyclists.

We joined Tom and Alyssia for their beautiful wedding day at Cain Manor in Surrey. Compared to the weather we have had recently it was the perfect day for a wedding dry with a dash of sunshine.  We met Tom and Alyssia through our friends Niki and Tom who’s wedding we will be shooting very soon, Tom and Alyssia live in New York so most of our planning was done electronically but we did get to meet Alyssia before which was lovely. It turns out Tom and Alyssia are both very keen cyclists so needless to say we had a lot to talk about.

Update here is Nikki and Toms wedding day

We Arrived early at Cain Manor and managed to meet Tom when he arrived too which was nice. A quick chat about shaving your legs (cycling thing) haha and then we started our day properly with Alyssia and the girls. They were getting ready in Cain Manor’s beautiful bridal suite and took some beautiful detail shots as well as makeup and dressing shots. This really is a lovely well spaced room for preparations.  We also met with Tom and the boys for a couple relaxed shots and the wedding ring details which I absolutely loved this week.

The ceremony

Soon after it was time to get married and Alyssia look absolutely breathtaking as she walked down the stairs. Into the wedding ceremony room which was silent awaiting her entrance. The ceremony was short and sweet telling the story of how they fell in love and that Tom told Alyssia that she had to ride her bike for a 100 mile ride with the NYC cycle club before he proposed 🙂  epic !.

Cain Manor wedding photos

Outside into the sunshine for family photos which was beautiful and then off for some portraits. Things were a tiny bit hurried because Cain moved the timings slightly but nothing we could not overcome and the photos were amazing. The videographer Gareth with us who was a joy to work with.

We were called into dinner where Sue and I whisked around to do our table shots. Cain is a great venue because its roomy which means we can get around. We then left them to their meal and headed off for a lunchtime picnic in the sunshine. 🙂

Photo booth

After dinner Sue and I setup our funtime foot booth in the drawing room. Then headed in to photograph the speeches which were brilliant. Toms was fun and lots of smiley faces. After the speeches people drifted out for coffee and soon enough started to head for our funtime.  Which we ran for an hour up until first dance as part of our free offer and it worked really well.

The dancing

We then photographed the first dance which was lovely and then said our goodbyes.

Another fabulous Cain Manor wedding for an awesome couple. All the elements of a perfect summer wedding at this gorgeous venue.
