Here at julian Porter Photography we undertake a lot of Corporate shoots and take a lot of different types of Corporate photos.
K&B Crushers
For the past few months we have been talking to the manager Steve. From K & B Concrete Crushers about a corporate shoot to get some photography for their new website and marketing materials. K & B are a huge company and this was a fun and very interesting job for us. After lots of discussions between K & B and their marketing people. They decided on Luggershaw for the shoot and they chose a glorious day earlier in the summer.
Corporate Giants. Literally
Because this was site work with Giant machines we had quite a few extra things to consider. not least safety. We started our day by getting decked out in the latest safety clothing and had a safety site chat which was interesting. We then headed to the machinery. I never knew there was so much to crushing concrete. Massive machinery and lots of it.
Our brief was fairly simple, we had to photograph a number of machines in use but in quite an artistic way, whilst remembering it was a working yard of course. We took lots of photos in lots of scenarios including me up in a cherry picker to get some great aerial shots. The weather was cracking and just perfect although very warm.
We also did some work for the sister company Hughes & Salvidge which was with a huge tonka toy type digger.
An unusual shoot for us and very enjoyable too, full of challenges and excitement.
