Last week we had a cake smash planned for almost 1 year old Deedar but after a fairly disastrous morning his daddy had to change the shoot until later that evening, We all knew it was going to be hit or miss and unfortunately on the cake from it was a miss.
Thankfully we just turned the session into a portrait shoot and although mummy and daddy had expected a few photos, probably;y not quite this many haha
Deedar was at first a little shy so we took a few with mummy and daddy but then we got to know each other and thanks to Alexa and our little friend “baby shark” we were soon full of smiles.
So despite the fact that Deedar missed out on cake, he certainly never missed out on the smiles and photos.
We will reschedule the cake shoot for another morning when he is not so tired bless him.
Cake shoots always work very well early afternoon just after baby has had a light lunch. You’d think it would work better when they are hungry but babies like familiarity when they are hungry and tired.
Alls well that ends well tho and just look at those smiles,
Our photo studio
We have a modern comfortable studio with lots of space and backdrop options including of course the very contemporary white and black options. We have a bathroom and changing areas fully heated and more importantly air conditioned for when its hotter outside.
Lots of free parking offload and a waiting room if you arrive early.
We have free high speed guest wifi so you can catch up one facebook whilst we photograph the children and you can enjoy a lovely latte from our deluxe coffee machine which of course is all free too.
Free cookies for the children and adults. Our famous Gingerbread cookies are very popular and people say they are worth coming back for.
We also have phone sockets available for recharging.
What does it cost?
Our family portrait shoots cost £200 and includes all of the photos that we take supplied electronically which allows you to download as often as you like to print and share. We do not hold back, if we take 100 photos then you get 100 photos all beautifully finished ready to print and share.
You can choose to have your photoshoot indoors in our modern studio or at our location here in Southampton. We can also quote to go to your favourite location if you prefer.
