Do you supply dresses for maternity shoots?
Yes we have a selection of dresses and wraps here at our Southampton maternity photoshoot studio that you are welcome to use for free.
These dresses can only be used during the studio shoot and whilst at the studio and cannot be used at our outdoor location.
We have more than 10 full length dresses as you can see below as well as a couple of wraps if you wish so show a little more bump and also a few props too. Most of our dresses can be photographed open to show the bump or closed to cover the bump.
We would suggest you bring underwear to suit the colours you like because most of the dresses are quite sheer and underwear can stand out.
I will post photos below but all of the dresses are long in size which works very well with maternity’s and they are medium size and quite forgiving so they suit most people.
You are welcome to do a pre visit by appointment to check out the dresses and of course our studio too.
Maternity props
What maternity props do you have?
We have a selection of maternity shoot props like pink and blue ribbon to tie on your tummy and a chalkboard for names or dates or any little phrase you might want to use .
We also have small teddy bears and amazing pink and blue paint if you have a toddler to use as a handprint on your tummy which looks fabulous in photos.
We have babies first booties in several colours as well as lots of fun banners and props suited to both boys and girls and even the unknown babies 🙂
As well as this we have cute little baby vests in pink or blue and a white too. All of these are free to use and I will post some photos below
of course these are ever changing and subject to availability on any given day.
Studio Backgrounds available
- Contemporary white
- Soft grey
- Old masters brown
- Black
- White soft brickwork
Each of these beautiful backdrops has its place and suits certain people depending on lots of factors but we are happy to advise you and change background during your shoot as often as you wish and our studio is full of examples of each backdrop in use. We have the most advanced background mounting system available and changing only takes a few seconds. We understand that these are very important decisions because once photographed they are not like “phone pictures” where you can change the background easily and thats not a service we offer.
