Everything couple of years since we photographed Emma and Dave’s wedding we have seen them for a family shoot. Usually outside and we usually tie it upon with their holiday travel. This year they were heading off to France to meet a group of pals but sadly covid stopped that trip. How ether they still did come to Portsmouth and we met down at Port Solent for this years shoot.
We met and after catching up with the boys we headed to the woods. We started with the whole family to “break the ice” and within a few short minutes we were smoking along.
We were soon photographing the boys both together and separately and having a bunch of fun. Once we got all those shots in the bag we went for a little walk and took lots more as a family and the boys too.
We finished with a typical Portsmouth shot of the boys on a bouy 😁

What we do here at our family portrait photo shoots in the studio or on location
Our studio is a professional studio with air conditioning, private parking and changing and bathroom facilities. Its not our home but we like to make it yours during your shoot. Free Wifi for our clients whilst you are here.
Sue and I photograph hundreds of portraits every year. I am very proud to say we always get the results we want. We have very much an unhurried approach to our studio work. Often we sit down for a coffee with our clients before the shoot and let the kids play on the background with our toys. This make the parents relaxed and the children comfortable and it gives us cracking smiley photos.
Our location shoots are even more relaxed because you are generally just our playing around in the woods or walking beside our beautiful lake, sitting in the wild grasses (on our blanket) or just generally enjoying yourself whilst we capture the photos.
The difference between us and a high street studio with a strict time limit is immeasurable because unlike them we never rush a shoot. We believe if people are comfortable and happy in our studio then they will come back again and again and its proved to work 
It also helps that we both LOVE what we do………..
We still meet here at the studio even when we head off to our location shoots, this makes the shoot much easier because we are together from the start and its only 5 minutes away too. The location has free parking and facilities too.
What does it cost?
Our family portrait shoots in our studio or on location cost £200 and includes all of the photos that we take supplied electronically which allows you to download as often as you like to print and share. We do not hold back, if we take 100 photos then you get 100 photos all beautifully finished ready to print and share.
You can choose to have your photoshoot indoors in our modern studio or at our location here in Southampton or elsewhere. We can also quote to go to your favourite location further afield if you prefer.
