We all know and understand the importance of family
I think our understanding has been heightened because of the Covid pandemic and we have seen a steady rise in family portrait photo shoots just to help us remember just how important our family members both young and old are.
Last week I had a call from local chap Jonathan who we had met many years ago photographing his children at a local nursery. He explained that he wanted an extended family photoshoot including 14 people. Of course we were delighted to help but with the current regulations it would need to be a location photo shoot. We agreed that because off ageing parents we would do this at their home inn Chandlers ford.
We chose a day and as always waited hopeful of the weather. As it happens it was perfect. Sunny with a light cloud cover so we were very happy.
We arrived and photographed the first family of 4 quickly followed by the second family of 4 with an extra puppy too 💙 Then the last family of 4 arrived so we did the same few groups with them too whilst we waited for mum and dad to arrive. Once mum and dad arrived we did a few larger groups then some with the adults and some with the grandchildren. A proper good mix of groups.
It was quite emotional because these families had not been together for a long time but we had a great shoot and captured some amazing memories for these amazing families.
Our location portraits shoot start at £200 and include all the photos we take so no nasty choosing afterwards.
COVID RESTRICTIONS and what they mean…..
Sue and I are so pleased to be working again. But we are taking nothing for granted. Our work practice will be a little different but we are still the same fun loving photographers.
We have new PPE stations with hand sanitiser and anti bac hand wash in the bathroom too. We also have gloves and masks for us to wear and for children we will wear our super snazzy super heroes masks so you can rest assured we have your best interests at heart.

The location portraits
We photograph lots of families at our preferred location here near our studio and although we also head elsewhere.
How much does it cost?
We offer a couple of options with our family portraits. Our regular portraits cost £50 to book and £150 for a disk of everything. This can be inside or out at our location. We can travel further afield and that may cost a little more. For families over 8 its a little more but this is all available on our portrait page.
So you can have a lovely selection of photos either inside or out for only £200
The photos are high resolution and can be supplied either by digital download, a DVD disk or a USB stick. You can then print and share your photos as often as you like. We do of course offer a full printing, framing and canvas service too.
