Our first paint gender reveal photoshoot
This week we did our first and I’m sure not our last crazy paint Gender Reveal for Paige, Jason and their daughter Isla and it was so much fun. I was contacted by Beth who is Paige’s sister a few weeks ago with the idea so we have been frantically trying to source paint thats vibrant and fun but also cleanable, Not an easy task I can tell you and we have the ruined towels to prove it haha. But it was super vibrant and it did clean off skin and the studio backdrops ok so id call that a win.
First and foremost Paige, Jason and Isla turned up with both Nana’s and Beth and the only person who knew the gender was Beth. They had gone to a private Scan and Beth had the envelope so it really was a Gender reveal to everyone and as such was quite emotive as you can imagine. Best part was Isla really wanted a sister and thats just what she is having.
We took a few family photos first but to be honest everyone was a bit tense so we got right into the Gender Reveal photo shoot. All dressed in white and blindfolded we grabbed lots of photos whilst Beth dabbed Isla’s hands in paint, She then rubbed paint everywhere at which point the Nana’s knew it was a pink baby but the 3 main people did now. It was just amazing.
After lots of paint and surprisingly little mess we took the blindfolds off to literally screeches of joy. Absolutely amazing idea for a Gender Reveal photo shoot Beth, top work.
