Hayley and Sarah’s winter wedding

On the last Sunday off 2018 we joined Sarah and Hayley for their beautiful winter wedding at Northbrook Park in Farnham. We have known Hayley for a long time and Sarah for a couple of years too having worked with their newborn and bump shoots as well as previous baby shoots.

Hayley and Sarah chose our popular 4 hour package to cover the most important parts of their day which was all the lovely getting ready details through to going into dinner.

Sue and I arrived early and started preps with Hayley, it was a good job we did because this time was pretty hectic all round. We zipped between Hayley and Sarah for a coupe, of hours and had a lot of fun catching up with them both, their parents and lots of our wonderful friends and past couples too.

Lots of beautiful details, 2 pairs of bridal shoes, 2 beautiful wedding dresses and so many beautiful rings. I was in heaven.

After the preparations Sue and I headed over to the registrars to say “hello” we knew them both so that was easy. We chose our ceremony spots trying to avoid the video cameras, that was tougher than it should have been today 😒 and Hayley and Sarah walked in with their dads. It was pretty perfect.

The ceremony was beautiful, The room is a delight to work in and the light is amazing all year round for us. Lots of details and shots of the ceremony including the beautiful 10′ Christmas tree and all surrounded by the romance of a very loud crackling log fire, It was pretty amazing and the perfect winter wonderland setting.

Afterwards we headed out for the confetti shot (well bubbles), Sue and I set it up outside and although it was chilly, it worked perfectly, Too many bubbles inside and the marble floor gets very slippery.

Back into the marble room and drinks and nibbles whilst we photographed some groups in the walled gardens. We managed with the help of our friends to keep this flowing.

Afterwards we only had a brief time for portraits but we had so many it was not a problem. Although this is the one part of the day that I hate being rushed.

Once the guests were seated we did our fun tables shots. So much banter it was fabulous. We were expecting to her able to shoot the speeches which were due to happen after the starters but it never did So we walked the room grabbing fun shots instead. The speeches eventually happened later than expected after we left.

It was a lovely way to finish our 2018 wedding season. With Hayley and Sarah and lots of friends.

Thanks guys for looking after us today
