We recently met Neil and Linda to chat about there wedding day which was last weekend in the beautiful private residence “Garlogs” in Nether Wallop. We hit its off at our meeting and booked in the day. To be honest at this point its as much about us liking them as them liking us. We have been photographing weddings for long enough to know that a bad match will not work 😍
The wedding day
We started our day at Linda’s parents house for some preps and then headed to Salisbury town centre for the wedding ceremony which was held in the lovely library room. A short ceremony then out in the park for confetti and a few photos before heading back to Garlogs.
Its fair to say That most of us were caught out with the weather. Friday was awful as was Saturdays forecast. But it was close to 30 and very very pleasant.
We all arrived in dribs and drabs and made the most of the sunshine in this beautiful location. Homemade Elderflower cordial was amazing and of course bubbles for those staying, some of them braved Friday to erect tents. We had a lovely afternoon photographing people enjoying themselves and the beautiful location and its 2 lakes.
We managed to find a lovely sheltered spot for the family groups. This is just as important in hot sunny weather as it in in cold wet weather. We need to keep people cool and looking fresh 😃
Afterwards we headed into dinner with an amazing French chef. Linda has owned a restaurant in the past so the food was uber important.
After dinner more chilling and we took Neil and Linda to the lakes for photos and then back to the marquee for dancing.
An amazing wedding with a wonderful couple. We absolutely loved our day with you both
