Its fair to say that “WOW” weddings don’t come along very often and certainly not parley manor wedding photos for most people but somehow they do for Sue and I,
I don’t thing thats coz we are “awesome photographers” . We are of course haha. But I think its because we throw ourselves into what we do wether its meeting our clients beforehand. Or making the most of getting to know the family and friends on the day or it might just be the way we blend in with whatever is going on. It might indeed just because I am a little bit cheeky just when needed haha. But whatever it is I hope it never changes Because I adore WOW weddings and they make all we do complete…
Parley manor wedding photos
This featured wedding with Mike and Kat was always going to be fab. Mike is one of my Cycling heroes he is a GB triathlete and Kat is just like Sue a “cycling widow”. Just like Sue quite firm with the rules haha so yesterday there was a bike ban talk. Thankfully we did sneak behind the bike sheds for a chat 🙂.
We started our day with Kat at her sisters house in Highcliffe. It was about 10 miles from the venue which was perfect. lots of light and space and lots of very pretty and very giggly girls. Sue and I did some lovely preps and really enjoyed our time with Kat who was looking great and very comfortable. When she stepped into her dress it was like OMG wow she just looked amazing.

Sue and I headed off to Parley Manor which was todays venue to see Mike and the boys which was looking great. Mike was suitable nervous but thanks to a small beer from our other buddy and awesome GB triathlete Paul he soon settled down. We got some fab pre wedding photos of the boys.
Kat’s arrival
Shortly afterwards the cars arrived. Kat and the gals walked across the sun soaked lawns looking sensational and straight into the ceremony. The ceremony was brief but beautiful and afterwards we all drifted out onto the lawns. Time was a little tight today so we had to crack on. We took our family shots and a few fun shots and then took the Mike and Kat off before heading into the marquee for speeches.
After speeches Sue and I headed off for lunch or is that dinner. Haha anyway we headed off for food and to get our funtime foto booth ready for the evening. After the meal was cleared away we setup the booth and it was super popular. The first photo being my evening favourite which I will pop below. It was Mike and Kat and a few British Triathlon props haha and Kat embraced it all very well.
After a mad hour with the booth the most romantic and perfect first dance finished out day with Mike and Kat. After a few goodbyes we headed home exhausted but very very happy.
Naughty boy
As a side note Mike did a 25 mile TT in the morning unknown to Kat of course. He also got an awesome PB and rode the course in 56 minutes plus change. And thats one awesome time, this is why I look up to my hero Mike…..
