Our wedding photography gaddens adventure
Wedding photography Gaddens and Gaddens wedding photos by Julian Porter Photography
Our story of Mark and Bri and their wedding photography gaddens. No cycling tonight because of the winds brought to us by hurricane Ophelia. Tonights winds reminded me of a recent summer wedding we photographed in Ringwood.
We joined Mark and Bryannie for their wedding photography gaddens in Ringwood and who would have thought the day would turn out as it did after the past couple of weeks of our summer heatwave. We woke Friday to miserable rain and again Saturday but with 40-50mph winds thrown into the mix. Ouch, this was going to be tough. Thankfully I knew even before I left home that Mark and Bryannie would be smiling no matter what.
The morning
Well sure enough we arrived in the morning to meet Bry after the hairdressers for some lovely preparation shots. And were greeted with the most amazing smile, We knew Bryannie because we photographed her lovely sister Erica’s wedding 3 years ago. After an hour or so preps we headed off to the Ringwood Parish church to meet with Mark and although it was incredibly windy. I am pleased to say the rain had gone 🙂 We spent the next half an hour or so shooting the boys and arriving guests.
Amazing vicar and church
I know I occasionally have a rant about vicars and quite deservedly so, But today we were greeted by the vicar who was without a doubt a Christian. If I were to ever recommend a church and vicar it would be this one. Genuinely lovely fella and his only interest was Mark and Bryannie and what was best for them. Awesome the church needs more people like this and I told him so. The ceremony was enjoyable for those that are church goers and those that choose not to. Everyone was welcome in this man’s church.
Bryannie arrived in an absolutely gorgeous Jag which was kindly supplied and driven by a family friend. She hurriedly walked into church alongside an equally excited Dad. The room was genuinely silenced by just how beautiful she looked as was Mark. The following 45 minutes were absolutely a joy to witness. Im pleased to say the photos are amazing.
I love it when we are not only allowed to do our job but actively encouraged too. Outside to a make shift receiving line. well departure line really and then a confetti line up before we headed to our venue for the day gaddens in ringwood.
A few shots on route to gaddens wedding photos
We stopped as planned on the way for some shots of Mark and Bryannie. Then afterwards made our way to the venue to meet the guests. We always do a run through with our couples and often choose places to stop should time allow.
Once at Gaddens. We did a few family groups and then some relaxed photos and lots of fun with “Blue Lightning and the Boys” before everyone was called into dinner. After the mains, we had 2 speeches and then a break for desert. This is becoming more popular. After which we had another awesome speech from Josh the BM and then coffee. This was our time to set up our Funtime foto booth for an hour. As always was a massive hit and a whole lot of fun.
The evening
The venue was decorated beautifully. This was a family wedding with lots of very special details. Dad made the table centres. Mom sorted the flowers, the candles were in little glass desert jars. Bri ate all the deserts 🙂 all in all it made for a beautiful wedding.
Later we had yet another speech from our groom Mark which made everyone cry. Then cake cutting with a lovely sword and into first dance. The dance was great, a few moments later everyone else was invited up and I have honestly never seen so many people dance so quickly. Great day, great people.
All in all a great wedding and great gaddens wedding photos
A long but very rewarding day and I am pleased to say the weather was super kind to us too. Not only did we avoid the rain that most of Hampshire got. But we also were very sheltered from the wind so a very positive win-win today.
