I will always look back fondly at this Creative newborn shoot Southampton for several reasons. Not least because our newborn was yet to be named..
At the time of our shoot Mummy and Daddy had not yet decided on a name for the latest “Smith”. That did not matter one bit to us. He was adorable and perfectly behaved too. Just like his big sister Isla, who we also photographed as a newborn and several times since.

Just like Isla did, and once we set about creating the right environment. Baby Smith settled into our shoot quickly and stayed settled throughout. Here at Julian Porter photography (babyjp) we have photographed hundreds of Creative newborn shoot Southampton. We have a dedicated newborn photography studio room here in our Southampton photography studio.
We have dozens of props and outfits and Sue has a few special tricks to help baby settle. Once settled we work like a well oiled machine to create beautiful newborn portraits. This is an art we have mastered over many years and we do it in a safe and comfortable way. Baby’s safety is paramount at all times and a few of our shots that you see here are actually composite’s. Rather than “risky shots”
Baby Smith’s shoot was just perfect. lots of time to play with some new props and of course to bring Isla into the photos too which made for some absolutely adorable moments I am sure Mummy and Daddy will treasure forever.
