7 Day old Rupert with big brother Arthur
We met Arthur as a newborn when his mummies brought him here and again for a cake smash. We were delighted to see new baby Rupert for the same newborn shoot and thankfully Arthur came along too so we had a great morning of fun. We started off our newborn shoot as Rupert in an adorable baby blue outfit which was just perfect.
We brought Arthur into the photos pretty soon on and he soon settled in. He was just a perfect bigger brother we loved seeing him again. Rupert was also the perfect newborn, We managed 4 outfit changes plus an adorable naked shoot too which I am sure will be treasured.
We finished with a few family photos. Absolutely wonderful shoot with the amazing family. I will pop Arthurs shoos below too.
Below are a few answers to questions that we get asked about our newborn photography Southampton.
How old should my newborn baby be for a newborn shoot with you?
Good question, ideally 7-10 days old but we know this is not always practical and often babies are still in hospital at this time but we have had great success upto 6 weeks old and even older with premature babies and twins.
When do I need to book a newborn photo shoot?
Honestly sooner the better, we take a £50 deposit then guarantee you a space during the magic 7-10 day period. Sue and I often work on our days off to fit in new babies.
What if I forgot to book my newborn shoot, is it too late?

Where is your newborn studio situated?
We are in Southampton SO163QJ. We have free parking and every single facility that you would expect from a modern photo studio including bathrooms, changing room, mummy and baby room and separate area in the studio if needed and Sue and I fully support breast feeding here for both newborn and mummies with older babies. We also have baby changing facilities and emergency nappies in most sizes lol.
