Oscar’s cake smash photo shoot
A couple weeks ago I had a call from a mummy who was visiting Southampton from London way to see the kids Panto “Bluey” to celebrate Oscar’s birthday and wondered if we could fit in a cake smash and splash after the show. We managed to move a corporate shoot (thanks Tommy) and we are very happy that we did. We had the most amazing cake smash with this little man and we all laughed a lot.
We started with a family photoshoot, Lots of people add this on because it’s only £50 and you get a lovely updated family shoot and a great set of photos too. Once done we got Oscar ready for the cake and he was already excited. We cleaned and prepped the cake area and sat Oscar down. He then literally face planted the cake, every parents dream haha it was fabulous to see. Oscar had a great time eating and playing with the cake and after we were happy with photos his brother joined in for a few which was also a bit of fun.
Afterwards Oscar had a well needed bubble bath to wash the cake off before the journey home. Big bro had to make do with wet wipes haha.
This is how a cake smash should be. So much messy and very wet fun.

How much does a cake smash and splash cost?
Our cake smash and Splash shoots cost £200.
What do we get for £200?
You get the shoot, the use of one of our many outfits so no washing to take home. The cake in a choice of colours. And most importantly you get every photo that we take so if we take 100 beautiful photos then we edit them and you get them all sent over by download link within a couple of days to keep forever NO EXTRA CHARGES.
Can we have family photos too?
Yes having a mini family shoot is an option and for only £50. I will pop our choices page at the bottom of this post so you can see the options and the cake and outfits choices.
Can we have a dairy free cake my baby has allergies?
Yes we can do a cake to suit most babies, We buy our cakes from Sainsbury’s or Tesco so know exactly what goes into them and then we decorate them ourselves so we have complete control. If your baby have multiple allergies we can even create a fake cake with just icing ontop which looks just like a real cake so win win.
