A cake smash for Penelope

Last year Danielle was gifted a gift voucher for potentially a newborn shoot but never got around to it and chose to use it for a cake smash for the now one year old Penelope. Which incidentally is one of my absolute favourite names.

When Danielle arrived at our photo studio she warned me that smiles were a rare thing from Penelope and his first photo is proof of that, haha she was not easy to get a smile from. So I let her get into the cake before I started my “get Penelope smiling” challenge. But it was worth it because within a few minutes or me being my usual silly self the smiles started to appear and soon more and more. And they were extra special smiles too and appreciated by everyone.

the cake smash went very well and Penelope made quite the mess for a delicate little lady so it was time for some bathtub photoshoot fun. She was quite demanding as a splash client haha, first the duck, then all the ducks and then the bath time book too it was fabulous and still the smiles kept coming.

An absolutely perfect cake smash and the photos are beautiful.
