Children’s fashion shoot and Girls designer dresses

Yesterday we had a corporate shoot with a twist a Children’s fashion shoot with a local Girls dress designer and children’s fashion online shop for fashion photography Southampton. We do a lot of fashion photography and quite a few Children’s fashion shoot here at our Southampton studio.

Smarty Pantz found us on Google and we chatted for a few weeks about there goal with the photos and branding. We decided on a shoot list and arranged a shoot for 4pm yesterday to work with our models schooling. Because of this we had to work reasonably fast to keep the girls happy.

We had 3 models yesterday, Poppy aged 2, Layla aged 7 and Mia aged 9. All 3 were amazing although Poppy did make me work haha. They were all absolutely lovely children and we would happily work with them again.

Our shoot started with any of the Children’s fashion range from the Girls dress designer which had a dress for all 3 girls. This was probably the toughest way to start but also comforting for Poppy to be with Mia and Layla. These went very well and before long we were photographing Poppy solo. Our intention was to finish Poppy before bedtime. Her’s not ours 😁.

We said our goodbyes to Poppy around 5:30 and concentrated on Mia and Layla. Lots of solo outfits in various poses and a few lovely pairs too. This was a real fun project and the girls really got into the posing. This is important on 2 counts. They need to be happy in front of the camera, and show the dresses off to there best.

We photographed the girls until we had finished the complete range which was about 7pm although we finished with Mia a little earlier. She had to travel back to Peterborough that evening.

The photos from this shoot were delivered within 24 hours which we can mostly do for our Corporate work. Maria and Kayleigh the owners of Smarty Pantz were delighted.
