Patricia, Robson and one year old Nokutenda
We first met Petricia and Robson back in 2022 for a bump shoot and then again at Christmas with their adorable new baby girl Nokutenda and she is just perfect. Todays visit was for a cake smash, one of our most popular photo shoots.
We started our Cake smash and splash shoot with family photos and had a great time getting to know Nokutenda, finding out what makes her react and smile, as well of course as getting some beautiful family photos too. The family add on is very popular with our cake smash shoots, it’s a mini family photoshoot and updates your family photos amend gets baby used to the limelight.
Once we were ready and Nokutenda was dressed for cake we got started, because the cake is a different part of the studio its all setup ready so very little delay and by the time Petricia had changed her outfit we were ready.
Nokutenda was a typical one year old and played with the cake for a little while before really getting stuck into it. But once she found her voice it was amazing. We had so much fun watching her play. We often have to get involved with encouraging babies with cake and we have spoons etc to make it feel more familiar but Nokutenda was fabulous.
Once we had enough came photos (mess haha) we moved Nokutenda to our changing area whilst we setup the splash part. Out splash bath is a genuine roll top bath from Texas in the USA made specifically for 1 year olds and its fabulous. We fill it with lovely warm water and lots of bubbles and it really is so much fun to watch and obviously do, you only have to look at their little faces to see they love it.
Afterwards we head to the changing area, again lovely and warm and Nokutenda gets dried and dressed whilst we clear up the armageddon type mess haha.
The best part of our Cake Smash and Splash shoots is that everything is included, We supply the cake and outfits for baby to wear so for you so no cake to arrange and no washing afterwards its a win win for you and the cost is still only £200 including all of the photos ready to print and share. The only payable add-on is a family shoot which is entirely optional and thats only £50.
