Our newest grandson Joseph
Earlier this month we were blessed with another grandbaby a brother to our Molly and cousin to Dylan. Joseph or Joe predictably came early and caused us all a week of worry but he is absolutely worth it. A perfect little boy.
This time we got to meet Joe at a couple days old in hospital but we managed to photograph him at around 12 days old so pretty perfect really. It would have been a blissful shoot but we had not anticipated the tornado that our Molly was going to turn into 🙂 thankfully a week or so on she has settled haha.
We photographed Joe in some of our favourite outfits and some with big sister Molly too which was a challenge to say the least but as always we were very patient. It’s hard when they are your own because she just wanted to cuddle pop pops not be photographed by him.
We got a lovely selection and I’m pretty sure this won’t be the last time we photograph him. We finished with a few with Andy and Joe and then Molls too.
I was a super proud pop pops and loved this shoot a lot.

What’s the best age for newborns?
Ideally 7-10 days old but we have had great success right up to 6 weeks old and older for prem babies.
Where is your studio?
Our newborn studio is in Bassett, Southampton So163qj and you can follow the preview link at the bottom of this page for all the details inc free off road parking.
Do you have baby changing and feeding area?
Yes we have a baby change area as we as a little private feeding area although we both fully support breast feeding anywhere in our studio.
How and when do we book?
You can book as early as you Like to guarantee a space and just message me and we can arrange that. It’s £50 deposit to book which comes off the total and you get a free photo gift for pre booking too.
I forgot to book my newborn photoshoot, is it too late?
No not at all it just means you might need to be a little more flexible but about 20% of our newborn photo shoots are booked after baby arrives for lots of reasons. Just give me a call or txt or WhatsApp on 07720325336 and we can chat.
Do you have newborn outfits and props?
Yes almost every single outfit and prop you will see on our blog belongs to us. Of course things change and get old and replaced but we always have a lovely selection.
