A couple of weeks back one of our cycling friends Andy called to arrange a lifestyle shoot with his family for his wife for Christmas. Unsure wether it would be before or after Christmas but thanks to some luck with the weather and some beautiful Autumn light we managed it before.
We book lots of family shoots for Christmas presents and have a gift voucher page especially for this. I will pop a link below in case your thinking of last minute Christmas gift ideas. All of our gift vouchers are full value and come with a card.
We started our shoot in our beautiful portrait studio with Andy, Rachel, Sam and Lucy, O and Mollie the dog. We did a selection of poses and played with a few larger and smaller family groups before heading out into the late autumn sunshine.
We went to our local photo area which is a designated nature reserve and we are lucky to be allowed to photograph there. We had a lovely hour walking around shooting at some amazing spots we had already earmarked and of course looking for the light.
We played with the family again, the kids separately and loads with Mollie the Labrador too. This really was an amazing afternoon and the light once again was easy to manipulate to work to our advantage.
Afterwards we had a fun but unsuccessful snake hunt before heading back to the studio.
How much does it cost?
We offer a couple of options with our family portraits. Our regular portraits cost just £200 for a disk of everything. This can be inside or out at our location. We can travel further afield and that may cost a little more. Our new lifestyle due shoot which is both in the studio and at our locations cost just £250 and you well get over 100 amazing photos.
So you can have a lovely selection of photos either inside or out for only £200 or both for £250.
The photos are high resolution and can be supplied either by digital download, a DVD disk or a USB stick. You can then print and share your photos as often as you like. We do of course offer a full printing, framing and canvas service too which is very reasonable.
Andy and Rachel chose a beautiful 40″ x 20″ oak framed montage which is a very popular option but our frames start from 7″ x 5″ for smaller spaces too.
