Newborn baby photography example
We recently met with 10 day old infant Imogen for her debut photo shoot.
Last week we had a call from Greg and Rochelle to say that their beautiful daughter had arrived. We booked in a day and arranged the newborn photos shoot. Sue and I leave 2 days free most weeks for newborns and although most like Greg and Rochelle are pre-booked we almost always have space to fit last minute babies in.

Greg, Rochelle, Imogen and Nana V (Vivienne) arrived for our shoot. We started as always by choosing outfits and settling Imogen into a sleep. This was all good and then we started.
We started Imogen in our favourite basket and started. She was a little unsettled but we worked through and she was absolutely superb. One thing I have learnt over the years as a Southampton newborn baby photographer is patience wins. Imogen was just perfect once settled again and we managed a few changes too. We also managed a few brief ones on our new beanbag which we love.
Dad is an avid Chelsea fan too 🙂 poor little love will have to play along with that until she realises the Mighty Saints exist 😂
We then took a few family photos with our adorable Imogen obviously. Lots with Mummy, Daddy and Nanna V too.
A great shoot with absolutely lovely people too. Thank you to Ashley for recommending us. Greg and Rochelle visited Ashley and Rob for dinner a while back and the house is covered in our newborn baby photos ❤️

Our Newborn baby studio and our facilities
Our studio has 2 areas, a lovely warm newborn area thanks to our amazing Italian lighting system. And a great viewing and parents area with lovely Air-Con. In fact its the same room so you are literally only a few feet away from your baby at anytime but the air con is re-directed away from the newborn area.
You can also grab a coffee or cold drink too or use the facilities. We have supper fast and free wifi so you can catch up on emails, work BOO or just Facebook updates and of course checking in at Julian Porter Photography.
Every month we do a competition for anyone thats checked in at JPP so not only is it a great way to show off its also worth doing.
