Sue and I have been really busy taking wedding photos at Skylark golf club. Its a new venue but one we have quickly fallen in love with.
Our lovely day with Rachel and Christian and their wedding photos at Skylark golf club
We started our day in the nearby Solent Hotel which is another wedding venue locally. This was for preparations photos with Rachel and the bridesmaids. Sue and I had a great hour capturing the girls getting nervous and lots of beautiful details as well as the lovely moment Rachel’s mum and dad arrived before we headed off up the road to Skylark Meadows. The solent hotel also has a lovely wedding vibe about it but definitely a hotel rather than a full blown wedding venue.

A few minutes after leaving the Solent hotel we arrived and parked at Skylark Meadows. We met with Christian and the boys for a few photos and then as the guests filtered into the beautiful barn.
I then heard the Bentley arriving with Rachel and her dad. I was greeted with the best smile from our gorgeous bride and this smile never left her all day. This is what weddings should be like. A few photos outside with an equally smily Dad and the car and then we were all set for the “I Do’s”.
Rachel walked into the barn looking amazing. A hushed room and down to her very nervous Christian. Rachel and Christian were then married in a beautiful ceremony interrupted only by beams of sunlight which was just amazing to be part of. This is one of my favourite parts of our wedding photos at Skylark golf club just amazing.
Afterwards we headed out onto the small grassed area for hugs and kisses and after a few family photos. wedding photos at Skylark golf club are just going to get better and better as this beautiful venue develops and we feel honoured to work here again.
As always with Skylark Meadows we were then invited over the the main building for drinks and canapés.
Our portraits with Rachel and Christian
Whilst the wedding guests are busy enjoying a glass or 2 of bubbles we took our lovely couple for some beautiful portraits. Like always we were given a couple of golf buggies and went exploring. We took a few photos in the lovely manicured parts of the venue and then deeper into the wild areas. Christian for some reason was convinced there were Adders but despite this we all survived. The grounds here make for beautiful Skylark Golf Club Wedding Photos and compliment our style perfectly.
Back into the main building and a few details before dinner. After the wedding meal we had the speeches which were short and sharp but 6 of them so very entertaining indeed. Lots of drinking, eating and laughing later we setup our Funtime Foto’s Photo booth. An hour of dress up fun whilst we waited for the evening guests to arrive.
The evening at Skylark
Once the evening guests had arrived we headed in to cut the cake. Lots of photos and banter made this extra fun. Then straight into the first dance and the start of what was an amazing dance filled evening.
After a couple of songs Sue and I said our goodbyes and headed off home. Another fabulous wedding day and another fabulous wedding venue.
Rachel and Christian had the most amazing day and Sue and I loved every minute of it so thank you guys you were just awesome X
Skylark golf and country club is a nice venue. It has so much going for it, location is awesome, food is crazy good, Staff are just brilliant and friendly. All in all its a pretty great local venue and we love it.
