Here at Julian Porter Photography we have a beautiful modern and fully equipped studio for Southampton family photographs. We have everything you could possibly need including changing room, bathroom and refreshments. Our studio also has guest wifi if your here watching a shoot or because we know how hard it is trying to keep the kids entertained. We have free parking ad are close to all Hampshire motorways. Sue and I have been Photographers for years and both have qualifications with Studio photos.

Sue and I offer an un-rushed studio photos experience and believe we are the only professionals taking Southampton family photographs to do so. We truly do put you first. Like our tagline says “we don’t just click. We connect”

Today was one of our mini shoots that you can read all about in the link below. WE run these occasionally and normally to coincide with the School summer holidays.

SPECIAL OFFER SHOOT

Our shoot with Jeremy and Nicole was slightly different. We are photographing their wedding day soon and its always great for us to meet up and photograph before hand especially when children are involved. After the family arrived we spent 10 minutes getting to know everyone and helping the 2 children to settle in. This is extremely important and makes for a much better experience all round. Once settled and we had the nod from Nicole we started our shoot. It was time for some fun Studio photos.

Todays shoot

Like I said today was different so we had no set plan as such. We would normally start with the most important photo and that can differ greatly. Sometimes its the whole family and sometimes just the children. Today we decided to start with all 4 of them. This proved to be a good idea because we got some fabulous Studio photos of the family together. After these were in the bag we started with a few smaller groups. The children sat with Mum and then playing with Mum. Then the same with Dad so we were building a nice collection. A mini shoot does not mean any less photos it just means less outfit changes and things like that.

After these group photos we started photographing the children. separately and together and then we brought in a. few props for them too. All in all it made for some amazing Southampton family photographs and I an sure Jeremy and Nicole will cherish them. An absolutely stunning set of Studio photos for this amazing family.

What we do here at family photoshoot Southampton

Our studio is a professional studio with air conditioning, private parking and changing and bathroom facilities. Its not our home but we like to make it yours during your shoot.

Sue and I photograph hundreds of portraits every year. I am very proud to say we always get the results we want. We have very much an unhurried approach to our studio work. Often we sit down for a coffee with our clients before the shoot and let the kids play on the background with our toys. This make the parents relaxed and the children comfortable and it gives us cracking smiley photos.

The difference between us and a high street studio with a strict time limit is immeasurable because unlike them we never rush a shoot. We believe if people are comfortable and happy in our studio then they will come back again and again and its proved to work
