Today here at Julian Porter Photography the Southampton newborn photographer we photographed Southampton newborn photos with 7 day old Harry. Our great friends Chef Gary and Karen recommended Ian and Katie to us after their numerous shoots with us. We first photographed Karen and Gary many years ago at their wedding at Careys Manor.
Harry and his Southampton newborn photos
Our shoot with Newborn Harry went very well indeed. We started as we always do with settling Harry into a deep sleep. We have been a specialist Southampton newborn photographer for a good few year now so know the tricks. Because of this it makes the whole shoot easier and more comfortable for Mummy and Daddy and of course our newborn.
Sue and I managed to photograph Harry in a few outfits and lots of our props too. It was quite clear that he was enjoying his shoot from the smiles too. After we finished with the props and outfits we photographed Harry with his Mummy and Daddy.
Perfecting the shoot, well, Practise makes perfect
We were the first Southampton photographer to offer true newborn shoots and are very proud of our heritage. Sue and I started photographing babies many years ago but the sleepy newborns was a craze in America. We saw this and knew it could come over here and after months and months of persistence we finally perfected our look. Of course we are still to this day tweaking things.
What we do here at Newborn baby photography
In a perfect world we would get to meet your newborn between 7 and 10 days. But we have had great success with babies much older and some parents are more comfortable leaving home after a couple of weeks. We have a comfortable and more important safe environment for both you and baby and of course any siblings you bring along too. Our studio is state of the art with constant lighting so no flash to bother your baby. We also have refreshments on hand and coffee is quite popular with new parents 😀
