Old Sarum Castle location portraits with Rob, Lizzie and Annabelle
We went to Old Sarum Castle for some location portraits with another of our wonderful couples. Rob and Lizzie celebrated their 10 year anniversary this year and chose to do so with a location portraits photoshoot with us which is just fantastic 🙂
The wedding day
Rob and Lizzie got married back in 2006. It was an amazing wedding day with every sort of weather imaginable and you can see the blog post here
We have seen Rob and Lizzie since at her sisters wedding and a big family shoot here in our studio too. It was lovely to meet Annabelle too who is full of beans and an absolute joy.
Old Sarum Castle location
Our location portraits shoot was at Old Sarum Castle at North Salisbury right by the lovely airfield so lots of light aircraft buzzing by and the space is just amazing. The views over Salisbury and the cathedral were sadly lost due to the misty day but no complaints because it was absolutely gorgeous.
We had so much fun on this shoot and the photos are gorgeous and a perfect celebration of all the wonderful things Rob and Lizzie have achieved.

Private free parking and changing and bathroom facilities. Its not our home but we like to make it yours during your shoot.
Sue and I photograph hundreds of portraits every year and I am very proud to say we always get the results we want. We have very much an unhurried approach to our studio work, Often sitting down for a coffee with our clients before the shoot and let the kids play on the background with our toys. These little things make the parents relaxed and the children comfortable and it gives us cracking smiley photos. The difference between us and a high street studio with a strict time limit is immeasurable because unlike them we never rush a shoot. We believe if people are comfortable and happy in our studio then they will come back again and again and it’s proved to work 🙂
It also helps that we both LOVE what we do………..
