Cake Smash and Splash Baby Photoshoot
Today we saw 1 year old Henry for his Cake Smash and Splash photos Southampton. We photographed Henry as a newborn a year ago and to celebrate his birthday he came back for a Cake Smash shoot. Sue and I have been photographing Cake Smash shoots for about 6 years but we have recently expanded. We now have a brand new studio setup and a lovely baby sized Rolltop bath. Just because its so much fun we also have lots of other bath time related props too.

We started out shoot with letting henry settle into the studio again. There is absolutely no point in rushing these birthday cake smash shoots. After Henry was happy we got him dressed in one off our birthday baby grows and got started. Like most little boys he was hesitant at first to smash the cake but he soon got into demolition mode.
It did not take long either and we were faced with a very happy and very messy Henry.

After a quick clean up of our area and setting up the Roll top Bath we soon got back to funtime again. The whole swap over only takes 3 or 4 minutes so no time to loose focus. Henry loved the bath and bubbles and the props too.
Actually we all laughed along with him. It was so much fun. Henry loved his bath time and we struggled to get him out and away from the rubber ducks.
