Our Family photos

This shoot was with Fiona and her lovely family. We met Fiona whist photographing one of our local Corporate shoots for O2Water. Fiona wanted photos of her family of 4 along with her parents. Of course we were happy to oblige. We would normally start with the most important shot which in this case was the 6 of them. But we had a tired and a tiny bit grumpy little girl so we started with Fiona’s parents who smiled when asked and sat still 😃 and then gradually built from there.

We often get children that are unhappy to start with, or tired and a bit grumpy but our fail safe method always works. We are never in a rush with our portraits, often Sue spends 20 minutes or so playing games with the children to help them relax. This was one of those days. That and good old bribery 😃. The parents favourite is a promise of a trip to McDonalds and lets be honest what kid could refuse that. But today our box of stickers eventually did the trick.

I am VERY pleased to say that within 10 minutes we had all 6 happily smiling and posing away for my camera. Once again patience is king. We may change a tiny bit more than getting your family photos taken at Asda photography Southampton. But I promise we are a whole lot better in every sense. We produce amazing photographs in a relaxed unhurried way. We rarely have anyone waiting despite having a lovely air conditioned waiting room. Instead we choose to do fewer shoots each day and concentrate on quality over quantity. Not always great business sense but always the right thing to do for our clients.

Fiona was delighted with her portraits and we made a new friend too. Win Win.

Our portrait photographs are supplied in high resolution. This means they can be printed very large indeed. We often front 60″ or larger. Our most popular shoot is our digital package although we offer a great print and framed photo service too at very competitive prices.
