Family portraits Southampton with Tim and May
This shoot was Family portraits Southampton with our friends Tim and May. We met Tim and May running some years back and have remained friends ever since. In 2016 we photographed their lovely wedding day and now they were back with the children for some Family portraits in our Southampton studio. We see a lot of our wedding couples back for portraits as their families grow. This as you can imagine is great for us here and just proves we are doing something special.
Tim is a keen photographer himself and has a great eye, His dad Barry is also a great photographer so we had to perform today 😃. Our brief tho was a simple one, a few family photos in our Southampton studio with the whole family having fun. I think we nailed it today.
Our shoot
We start our shoots normally with the most important photo or photos. But Tim and May know our style and know what they wanted so there were no extra specially important photos. Just relax and have some fun, so thats what we did. First we got the children comfortable with a few toys and stuffed animals. Then we started shooting.
Lots of photos of the children both separately and together and then of course with Mum and Dad too.
This really was a “typical” Julian Porter Photography family portraits shoot and we loved it. I think you will agree the children look very happy and comfortable too.
