Family photography southampton with Anna and Chris
Chris and Anna wanted some family photography southampton. We have known Anna for a lot of years and have photographed and worked with her family over those years. 😀 So we were delighted when Jen, her Sister brought Anna a voucher for her new baby Leo. It took a little longer to organise than most shoots mainly because of Anna and Chris’s schedule and the small fact that they are organising a beautiful Italian Wedding later this year ❤ but we managed to arrange a date and timing could not have been better because we had the whole family together.
We started our shoot with the 3 children and had a whole lot of fun, then we brought in Anna and Chris and then lots of individual photographs too. It was a fantastic way to get to know the kids because Sue and I are fortunate enough to be heading to Sardinia to photograph the wedding later this year.
It was a great shoot and the highlight for me was when one of the girls uploaded a photo to instagram with the title “this is the best photo we have ever had” proper made my day ❤
We finished off with a few more of Leo and then said our goodbyes until the wedding. Another fantastic family portrait here at Julian Porter Photography.

Sue and I photograph hundreds of portraits every year and I am very proud to say we always get the results we want, we have very much an unhurried approach to our studio work, we often sit down for a coffee with our clients before the shoot and let the kids play on the background with our toys, this make the parents relaxed and the children comfortable and it gives us cracking smiley photos. The difference between us and a high street studio with a strict time limit is immeasurable because unlike them we never rush a shoot. We believe if people are comfortable and happy in our studio then they will come back again and again and its proved to work 🙂
It also helps that we both LOVE what we do………..
