New Forest wedding photographer at Rhinefield house photos and Highcliffe castle. Wow what a weekend. Sue and I love our May weddings and this one had everything we could wish for. Great people, great locations and perfect weather. Yes we are blessed with our clients 😁
The Preparations New Forest weddings
We started our day in East Wellow at Laura’s Dads house for some lovely photos with Laura and the girls. This was the most amazing setting and perfect for photos. Light and beautiful. We spent a couple of hours shooting all the beautiful wedding details and of course Laura and her bridesmaids. Eventually we headed off to our next venue for the day which was the amazing Highcliffe Castle.
Highcliffe Castle wedding photographer
After a lovely drive and a coffee stop we arrived at Highcliffe. After a few quick guest shots we heard the familiar roar of an Aston Martin. It was a joy to see Ian driving it up the lane towards the castle looking splendid. We grabbed a few shots of the guys and the car and rings etc before heading into see our friends the registrars and sorting our spots for the ceremony. Being regular new forest wedding photographers we both know Highcliffe Castle and the registrars well.
Laura
Soon after Laura and her dad arrived in style. A beautiful Rolls Royce was our second wedding car for today. A few shots in and around the car then into get married. Highcliffe is a beautiful venue flooded with natural light from all sides. So when Laura walked in, to say she lit up the room was an understatement. It was a beautiful ceremony and a lovely way to spend a half an hour with wonderful people.
Afterwards we spilled out into the gardens and enjoyed then sunshine. After some relaxed photos we took Ian and Laura for a walk.
To the beach
We walked through Highcliffe Castle grounds and down to the beautiful Beach. A gorgeous day and a few lovely photos made for a lovely addition to the album.
Rhinefield House photos New Forest wedding photos
We arrived at the amazing Rhinefield House after a short drive through the New forest. Into the gardens for an afternoon of sipping cocktails and eating beautifully crafted canapés. A few family groups to do and got on with these fuss free and whilst doing so the Best Man managed to clock up 270 selfies. I kid you not 270. I am pleased to say he was the most respectful selfie hunter ever and never got in our way once top man. We then took Laura and Ian off for some more beautiful portraits all of which will help to make this a beautiful wedding album.
Dinner at Rhinefield House
Soon after the portraits we were ushered into the Grand hall for the wedding reception. This started with the speeches which were fun and of course more champagne. Whilst the meal was happening Sue and I headed back to the car for some munch. We were greeted by a lovely polish family who gave us a great big bowl of freshly picked strawberries. Such amazing people. We love being new forest wedding photographers partially because the wonderful people we meet.
The evening
The evening started well. A few more photos in the grounds with the guests enjoying the evening sunshine. Then just as the colder evening came in we were called back inside but the toastmaster. Yes it was time for dancing and dance we did. A beautiful first dance and a wonderful evening was started. A crowded dance floor and a few more photos and Sue and I headed home.
Tired and very happy after another superb wedding day in the new forest at these 2 amazing wedding venues.
