Our day Rhinefield House wedding photos

A while ago on a lovely sunny Friday we joined Gareth and Pamela for their wedding at Rhinefield House in Brockenhurst in the New Forest. They could not have chosen a more perfect day to get married. Sue and I are friends with Gareth and Pam because they both share our love of running so we knew it was going to be a fab day. We have been regular Rhinefield House wedding photographers since our first wedding the early 2000’s and we love it. Its got everything you could want from a New Forest wedding venue.

The prep and our start with Rhinefield House wedding photography

We joined Pamela, the girls and some pretty AWESOME shoes at Rhinefield for the preparation photos. Its great when our Rhinefield House wedding photography starts here because the bridal suite is amazing. Lots of room and great light too.

We had a fab hour taking some amazing details. Of course including those shoes. Once we had our shots with the girls it was off to the local Catholic church to meet Gareth.

The “I Do’s”

Off to the Catholic church down the road in Lyndhurst. Because of Yesterdays wonderful sunshine the New Forest was buzzing so traffic was heavy. But being a cyclins and knowing a few shortcuts always helps and we arrived in good time to meet with Gareth and the lads for some portraits. Then more lovely details and of course to meet the Priest who was just awesome.

If I was ever going to be religious I think I would become a catholic because they seem to embrace what I call real christianity The priest made everyone feel so welcome and actually stood at his church doors and welcomed everyone in one by one. Absolutely amazing way to welcome people into God.

Just as the welcome, the ceremony was lovely. Enjoyed by everyone including Sue and I. its especially nice watching friends get married and even nicer being a huge part of their day. After the ceremony we headed outside into the sunshine and had a while photographing hugs and kisses and the most beautiful confetti line before heading off back to Rhinefield for our reception.

Once back at Rhinefield we photographed the cars out front which always makes for impressive photos. Then we all headed out onto the sunny lawns for a couple hours of relaxed fun, bubbles and Canapés. Lots of photos including some beautiful family groups on the eastern steps. A few beautiful portraits remembering this is a wedding and not a photo shoot 😃 so we keep an eye on time. The time actually flew by as its always does and we finished as always with an “everybody” photograph from the bridal suite balcony before heading into dinner.

After the starters we had 3 fun speeches and then the remainder of the wedding breakfast so after a bite Sue and I setup our funtime foto wedding booth ready to kick off after dinner. The foto booth was a huge success and after an hour or so we moved into the first dance and then after a little while Sue and I said our goodbye’s and headed off home. It was a long but fantastic day that we both loved.
