Family photos Southampton

This family photo shoot was with another fab cycling friend and his family. Nick is another local cyclist who I have known for a while. Nick wanted an updated family photoshoot with his wife and 2 boys.

We do lots of sports photography and especially cycling for the local clubs. We do this for free and apart from loads of fun it also helps me connect with my friends who don’t always know what I do. Plus of course sometimes its good to support the local sports clubs.

We started our first poses with the most important which was the whole family. Once we had a few of these we started to play with a few options. Starting with the grown ups and then adding the kids.

Once happy we moved to a few of the children both together and separately.

All in all this made for am amazing collection and they were all very happy.

How it works here at Southampton Family photographers

Sue and I photograph hundreds of portraits every year and I am very proud to say we always get the results we want. We have very much an unhurried approach to our studio work. Often sitting down for a coffee with our clients before the shoot and let the kids play on the background with our toys. This make the parents relaxed and the children comfortable and it gives us cracking smiley photos. The difference between us and a high street studio with a strict time limit is immeasurable because unlike them we never rush a shoot. We believe if people are comfortable and happy in our studio then they will come back again and again and its proved to work
