Southampton location portraits with Hayley
Just before Christmas I was contacted by local journalist Hayley to ask about some Southampton location portraits . The shoot was her and her lovely little boy who was about to turn 1 years old. We arranged a day to meet at the common but with one thing and another Hayley could not make it so we rearranged the shoot for last week. It was a beautiful sunny day but about zero degrees so very cold 😁 but we all braved the cold and had a lovely shoot.
Southampton location portraits – The shoot
We started near the play park area on some fallen trees then visited the duck pond before finishing back near the play park, I love all of these locations for shooting and it made for a lovely selection.
Here are a few from the day.
Sue and I photograph hundreds of portraits every year and I am very proud to say we always get the results we want, we have very much an unhurried approach to our studio work, we often sit down for a coffee with our clients before the shoot and let the kids play on the background with our toys, this make the parents relaxed and the children comfortable and it gives us cracking smiley photos. The difference between us and a high street studio with a strict time limit is immeasurable because unlike them we never rush a shoot. We believe if people are comfortable and happy in our studio then they will come back again and again and its proved to work 🙂
It also helps that we both LOVE what we do………..
We are running some very special portrait offers at the moment so if your looking for photos of yourself or your a couple or a family please take a look because I am sure you will find something that will interest you
