This weekend saw our first wedding of 2018 and our first Wedding photography Marwell this year we could not have wished for a better start to our season. Great fun couple, nice venue and amazing weather, and after a week of snow and sludge that was very welcome 😁
Our day started with Sarah at the Wedding photography Marwell hotel for some relaxed preparations and seemed to be flitting between 3 or 4 rooms throughout the morning 😀 but we got some great shots and got to meet lots of lovely people too. We decided our time between Sarah and Mike which was an ideal start to our day. Sue and I spend this time doing a few makeup shots and lots of lovely details of the dress, wedding rings and flowers as well as lots of other details.

The wedding took place in the main wedding room at the Marwell hotel and Sarah was escorted down the isle by her Mum and Dad which was just perfect for this lovely family
Mum Julie has been poorly so it was a blessing she was able to make the wedding and looking so well too. The ceremony was short and sweet and we soon spilled out into the covered area for drinks. Sue and I did our usual relaxed photos at this point and then headed off for groups.
Normally at the Marwell Hotel we head into the woods for some beautiful natural photos but after snow all week the ground was soaked so we headed to the front tropical garden which suited this smaller wedding perfectly. After the family groups we took Mike and Sarah for a few photos before heading back for confetti and more chilling time.

It was soon time to head into the wedding breakfast and our table shots and then after dinner 3,4,5 or 6 speeches 😂 The children all did a little speech which was lovely.
Afterwards we set our Funtime up and the kids loved it. After that it was dancing and more drinking so Sue and I said our goodbyes and headed back home.
What a superb way to spend a Wednesday and start our Marwell Hotel wedding photographers . Plus it was Sarah’s birthday so double celebration 🙂
