We started our day with Steph in the bridal suite for preparations and a few lovely details. Before heading downstairs to meet with Nathan and the boys who had arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce. This was a surprise for him, after a few shots with the lads I headed back to Steph whilst Sue photographed the hundreds of beautiful details and flowers. These looked amazing and filled the East Close with an amazing scent perfect for a lovely June summer wedding.
New Forest weddings
It was time to get married and capture some beautiful East close hotel wedding photos for Nathan and Steph. As a Hampshire wedding photographer we photograph many New Forest weddings and the East close hotel is just perfect. Lovely inside and out.
Steph was led downstairs by her very proud Dad and the ceremony commenced. lots of emotion especially from the lovely bridesmaids Steph’s best friends and lots of tears and laughter from the guests too. A beautiful ceremony and soon it was time to head outside into the June sunshine.
Into the New Forest
Afterwards we were led into the garden by the new Mr & Mrs Meys. A couple of hours in the beautiful sunshine. Just what summer weddings should be like. Pimm’s on the lawn and everyone just chilling and enjoying the afternoon. We shot a few family groups which was fun and then we took Nathan and Steph for some portraits. In the meadows and around the grounds which were lovely. Nathan and Steph chose an engagement shoot with us which made the wedding photos that little bit more comfortable for them. After the wedding portraits we did an everybody wedding shot from the upstairs window and confetti photos.
Wedding breakfast
We were then called into dinner and the start of a lovely chilled evening. Dinner was served and the Sue and I setup our FuntimeFoto’s wedding photo booth in the lovely ceremony room much as we did at last weeks East Close wedding.
After dinner people once again drifted out into the sunshine but it was not long before people started to come into our FuntimeFoto’s wedding booth for some amazing fun photos. We started with our beautiful flower girl Maddison who along with her family we met at scott and kim’s Rhinefield house wedding a few years ago. Maddison just kept coming back again and again and again and every time with her cute little smile it was so much fun.
We then did a few evening shots in the bar and the first dance before heading back to finish off our funtime wedding booth.
Sue and I have known Steph and her parents since She went to school with our son Andy so it was lovely to be part of her day. We would like to thank everybody for looking after us yesterday. We have rarely been offered so many drinks and so much food at a wedding and it was heartwarming.
Lovely summer wedding with lovely people, you guys all of you should be very proud, Nathan and Steph it was the most amazing wedding and you should be very proud of them, to everyone else, you made this a proper good wedding and you all deserve a pat on the back too 🙂
