Our Friday June Rivervale Barn wedding with Steve and Natalie was a delight from Start to finish and I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did. We were recommended to Steve and Natalie by our friend Giordana, who’s wedding we shot a few years ago. We get around 80% of our wedding from director t or indirect recommendations which I hope means we are doing something right.
Preparations with Hampshire wedding photographer
We started our day with Natalie just done the road at a local hotel where she was staying overnight. This was just makeup and a few details before we headed to the beautiful Rivervale barn wedding venue. Once here and in the bridal suite things calmed a little and Natalie finished her prep.
Sue and I took advantage of the timings and headed off for 10 minutes with Steve and the lads. Once there we photographed the lads and a few details like the rings before heading back to the room.
The dressing
The dress was amazing, and the shoes OMG I just loved them so much. I know I should have been a girl :-). We finished off the preps and headed off to get married. Sue and I love wedding photography but we really LOVE Rivervale Barn wedding photography. One of those reasons is the entrance of the bride. Its just amazing. Today was no exception as the large doors cracked open Steve started crying, and crying and crying.
The ceremony
Natalie walked in with her dad, also tearful and the drama was amazing. You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife it was so dramatic, romantic, cinematic I really could go on…. The ceremony was perfect and what every couple could have dreamed about. Great friends, great location and the perfect couple. The ceremony was short and sweet and was run to perfection by the amazing Hampshire registrars.

Afterwards we literally spilled out into the courtyard for canapés and bubbles. And of course photos. The best think about Hampshire weddings is that we know most venues and can easily get the most from them. Having said that Rivervale Barn wedding photography is pretty perfect once you know your way around. We had a great couple of hours taking a few family photographs. We also took lots of relaxed photos of the guests enjoying the day. Later we took Steve and Natalie off for some lovely romantic wedding photography.
Into dinner
We were called into dinner and the room looked amazing. Sue and I joined Steve and Natalie because we knew so many people here. We had a great meal and lots of photos between courses. Wandering around we did a few relaxed shots of the kids and the obligitory naughty table which was a lot of fun too.
After the meal the speeches. They did not disappoint either. This really was tuning into the perfect wedding. After the speeches we had some fun time dancing. Sadly we could not go outside again because the summer rain had come but no complaints from anybody because it had been an awesome day. We then did a few evening portraits before heading for home after what was an amazing wedding.
