For this gorgeous July wedding we joined Guy and Anna for Barford Park wedding photos. Sue and I often photograph weddings at Barford Park and its a favourite of ours. Barford park wedding venue is situated in Downton near Salisbury so less than 20 miles from Julian Porter Photography HQ. Set in stunning rural locations surrounded by beautiful working farmland and all the beauty this brings.

Our day started at home with Anna for a few preparation shots. Guy and Anna chose our short day package so we worked around their timings.
This meant about 20 minutes at home which was perfect for a few details. We then headed off the 5 minutes to the beautiful church in Wilton. We took a few photos with Guy and the best man as well as guests arriving. The weather was scorching and just perfect for a rural wedding day.
We met with the vicar who said we could shoot from the balcony so all good. Anna arrived looking amazing in a beautiful white vintage Rolls Royce so we grabbed a few photos before heading into church.
The I Do’s
The church looked amazing and Anna did too as she walked towards Guy. We had a beautiful vantage point and captured some great photos. The ceremony was lovely and afterwards we all spilled out into the courtyard for confetti and photos. Again it was absolutely gorgeous with proper July weather and despite the heat nobody was complaining.
We then followed the Rolls Royce the 14 or so miles to Barford Park.

Once at Barford we quickly got to work with some lovely relaxed guest photos as well as lots of beautiful details. This was the most amazing theme for a wedding in a rural location, Hay bales and picnic food for Canapés along with bubbles of course. After that a few family photos and the everybody shot before we took Guy and Anna off to the fields for some portraits.
This finished our short day option but once again it worked our perfectly with the wedding party being asked into dinner as we left.
