Our day shooting Careys Manor wedding photography
On a beautiful sunny Sunday we joined Will and Jade-Marie for their lovely wedding at the beautiful Careys Manor hotel in the New Forest. Sue and I started with Jade and what seemed like lots of happy people as we arrived for preparations.
We found Jade-Marie in a suite with the girls and spent an hour or so capturing some lovely details along with the manic’ness of all the 5 children. Lots of beautiful details and special moments made this a fun hour. Then Jade stepping into her beautiful wedding dress and her 2 brothers arrived to walk her to her wedding. The boys seeing her in her dress for the first time was pretty special.
The summer ceremony with Careys Manor wedding photographer
After a short walk to see the registrars we were off to get married. The ceremony room was beautifully decorated and perfectly silent as the bridesmaids and children came in one by one. Will and Jade’s son Joseph was the exception because he literally sprinted down towards Daddy.
It was just perfect. Jade then came walking in with her 2 brothers and we had a lovely ceremony. Joseph was the ring bearer and all went very well. Afterwards we headed out into the sunshine for a traditional sword arch followed by confetti. Again just perfect.
The garden party
We then spent a couple of hours photographing family and friends as well as our formal shots. Then our couple shots including a few in the secret gardens. The groups at Careys Manor consist mostly of the front area but its broken top into sections quite nicely and we are never more than a few metres from all the action.
After our time outside we were then called into dinner and to break with tradition it was speeches first. 3 relatively quick speeches later it was time for food. Carey’s Manor is known for their food so I am sure it was delightful as always.
The evening buzz
After dinner we once again headed into the gardens but the DJ, Toby decided we should get the evening started a little earlier than planned. So without any delay we all headed inside. Some to dance, some of us to raid the sweetie cart 😁. We photographed the cake cutting and then straight into the first dance. We stayed for a few songs after before saying our goodbyes.
Another great wedding with fab people. Another military wedding that flowed like clockwork too and another lovely Careys Manor wedding day.
