Domus Beaulieu wedding photographers
Domus Beaulieu wedding photographers with Eliot and Victoria.
How it all began
On Saturday we joined Vicki and Eliot for our second wedding of the weekend which was just amazing. Sue and I have known Vicki since she was 5 years old so it was a pretty special day for us too. Sue and I know her sister in law Danielle and Brother Ben who’s amazing wedding we shot last year when she married Ben. you can see the wedding below. Ben and Danielle are constantly recommending Sue and I and we are both so grateful, we love you both very much and are always so chuffed to see you at our weddings.
The wedding day
We started our day with Vicki at home in shirley for a couple of hours of preps and catching up with Vicki and the girls as well as her Mum and Dad Sally and Baz. Lots of beautiful details, Tiffany gifts and amazing shoes. Afterwards and after some lovely prep shots we headed off to the local golf club to meet the boys having a pre wedding pint. Here we took a few photos before heading off to St Michaels church on Bassett Avenue.
The amazing church
This is our most local church and we love it. We arrived with the boys and took a few shots of them and the guests arriving. This always makes for a lovely page in the album.
Soon after Vicki and Baz arrived in a gorgeous vintage roller and for the first time since I was married a bride took my breath away. Vicki, you looked absolutely amazing and Baz as always the very proud dad. We were ushered into the church and I am sure I was not alone when everyone saw Vicki especially Eliot who was obviously taken aback.
What followed was a lovely ceremony and for the first time in a lot of years I felt welcome in a church the vicar was amazing as was the verger and even the choir were stepping aside and offering me a better view. perfect church experience and I LOVED it.
Time for Domus Beaulieu wedding photographers to shine
After the amazing ceremony we left straight away to head to the Domus in Beaulieu. The guests travelled in an old London Bus to the historic domus one of the original buildings of Beaulieu.
When we arrived we headed down to the Beaulieu river for couples photos as well as around the beautiful Beaulieu grounds. As the guests and the old bus arrived we headed back to the wedding reception.
We had already been to Beaulieu with Eliot and Vicki for their engagement photos so we had a good idea of what they liked. We then spent a while taking relaxed reportage and a few family groups and some details before being called into dinner.
The chatter
Before dinner we had speeches including an emotional one from Baz (no surprise there) haha and a brilliant duet from the 2 best men. Because we had 5 minutes before dinner we set up our funtime wedding foto booth ready for the evenings fun. That kicked off almost straight away with everyone loving the booth.
We then went back for the first dance and a couple of nightime portraits before Sue and I wrapped up and called it a day.
Another amazing summer wedding with incredible weather and amazing people ❤️ Thank you for choosing us to be your Domus Beaulieu wedding photographers
