Our Parley Manor wedding photos on a Wednesday

Sue and I had a call one afternoon from the lovely Ang. She explained that she was getting married at Parley Manor and wanted us to be her Parley Manor wedding photographer. On checking dates I explained we already had a pretty hectic weekend and we probably could not do the wedding. But after an hour chatting and Ang explains it was a “small Wednesday wedding” we agreed 😀

Generally we only do 1 wedding a weekend. Mainly because I am a competitive cyclist and we try to keep a work/life balance. Of course work comes first when its a wedding and this was one of those moments.

Ok it soon became clear that this was not a “small Wednesday wedding” haha. we started our day with Jan who got ready with the rest of the lads at the east close hotel And we started with a few preperation shots, the boys arrived along with Jan’s family and one very cool Hummer ! after an hour or so Jan and his family headed off for a helicoptor ride so Sue and I joined Ange at the lord bute hotel which is literally just a stones throw away.

Once with Ang and the girls things slowed down to a nice pace. Lots and lots of beautiful details and we were having a fab morning. After an hour or so we headed off to Parley to once again see Jan. Whilst we waited for the girls to arrive we photographed the boys and families.

When Ang did arrive she looked sensational in a beautiful convertible. After a chat with the registrars and a few more photos we headed to the ceremony marquee.

The ceremony was beautiful and afterwards we did a dove release. Don’t see too many of these anymore. then family groups in there beautiful grounds before were took Ang and Jan off for some lovely portraits. This time of year is amazing at Parley Manor. The flowers are in full bloom and not looks sensational.

Once in the main Marquee we were straight into dinner. After the main course and to everyones surprise Ange and Jan had arranged Bella Supranos to sing. It was a rip roaring sucsess and everybody got up to dance like I had never seen during the meal before. Amazing experience. The meal went on for a while but everyone was happy and very content.

After Dinner came the speeches. Six speeches yes six. But all very entertaining and fun to be part of. Afterwards we had another hour out on the lawns so a great time for a few more photos from us.
