Today it was Newborn twins photos with 15 day old Joseph and Lyla by Southampton newborn photographer Julian Porter. We photograph lots of newborns but only a handful of twins each year.

We have worked with Joseph and Lyla’s Mummy and Daddy a few times. Including older sister Louise’s (she is only 1) newborn shoot and cake smash shoot. So we were delighted when Amy called to book the Newborn twins photos. We pride ourselves in our work and our clients returning proves its working. We always have fun with Amy and her family and todays shoot was no different.

The Newborn twins shoot was pretty near perfect. Amy arrived and chose a couple of outfits for the twins. fed them and they slept. Easy! 😂. Well it sounds easy now of course, but we have a tried and tested method of helping newborns relax that we have perfected over the past 7 years. Prior to that we used to jkeep babies awake but these are so much cuter ❤. As expected Amy brought along her Partner Joe and her sister Sophie and Mum Sarah to the newborn twins photos. We all know each other well now and its a lot of fun which helps for a relaxed atmosphere too.

I started our shoot with the Newborn twins photos before bringing in 1 year old Louise every few props. We photographed the twins in 3 different outfits and various props before bringing in the rest of the family to play. This all made for a lovely selection of photos and I know that Amy, Joe and the family will treasure these forever.
