Pre wedding formal photos portrait shoot

Earlier this week we photographed a pre wedding formal photos portrait shoot for Paria and her family. I have been speaking to Paria for a while about this pre wedding formal photos session. She was getting married at the registry office in Southampton and then goal abroad for photos. So to make the most of getting dressed up to marry she wanted some pre wedding formal photos and a portrait shoot. Of course this suited our style down to the ground so thankfully she chose us. We had a meeting before the day to discuss photos and timings which was important bearing in mind it was a wedding day.

Portrait shoot

On the day Paria turned up with her husband to be and sister as well as his parents. This made for a lovely collection of photos and a set that the parents can take back home with them. We started with out white portrait shoot background for shots as a group and separately. As well of course as a few smaller groupings too. This is the best part about our “no rush” approach. We never like to rush our shoots so that our clients get the most from them which in turn makes them happy to come back and recommend us to friends.

Afterwards we changed to our brown canvas. This is a beautiful background and works with all sorts of people and especially the more formal side of photography. When properly lit you get the most amazing traditional look but still retaining the modern feel of the sharp clean photos. Once again we took a few as a large group then broke down into smaller groups. Of course some with our bride and groom too. We also brought in our red leather club chair which gives a great feel to the photos.

We have a huge selection of backgrounds to shoot with. Some suit younger people and some older but we are always happy to play with them and get creative. Our most popular backdrops are canvas but we also have disposable paper which make some amazing colours. Lots of props too like chairs and benches as well as speciality props for Christmas.
